Dr. Ifat Sher is the Head of the Restorative Retinal Lab and a Senior Researcher at the Goldschleger Eye Institute, Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer, Israel.
Dr. Sher received her PhD in Biology from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. Following the completion of a postdoctoral fellowship at Cornell University, New York, she joined the Sheba Medical Center, where she studies neuroretinal degeneration diseases and develops cell-based therapies for the treatment of retinal dystrophies.
